The adapter has an LED on the front side that indicates:
Blue - adapter loading
Flash green - adapter trying to connect to a paired phone
Solid green - adapter connected to the paired phone and the Android Auto session started.
Solid red - smth wrong happened or attempts to establish Android Auto connection with the car have ended.
Solid white - automatic connection paused.
Yellow - reset or update the firmware is going.
